California State Assembly passes same-sex marriage bill (previously passed by Senate)

With the "it probably doesn't help, but it probably can't hurt either" caveat, instructions for calling the governor's office to voice support for the bill, AB 849:

Call (916) 445-2841
Press "2" (to comment on legislation)
Press "1" (to comment on AB 849)
Press "1" (to support it)

Any idea if they track calls by area code to weed out out-of-state callers? I can see reasons they might want to track both in- and out-of-CA separately, since national opinion might be of import in this particular situation, but I doubt us left-thinking right-coasters carry much weight with Ahnold if they do keep separate statistics. Still, I'll give it a try, thanks!

I just called (from my PA cell phone), and there was no indication given that they objected to my location. So it's possible they are tracking out-of-state calls too.
